John Smull Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Smull (Burlington, Iowa), whose life came to an end on September 28, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Smull and Dorothy "Gretchen" Smull (Birkhofer); his siblings, Delores and Willard Jr.; his nephew Christopher Smull; and his brother-in-law William.
He is survived by: his wife Edna; his sons, Scott (Deb), Kevin (Amy) and Sean; his grandchildren, Samantha, Christopher and Madeline; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley and Aiden; his niece Janice Shuger (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Burke, Walter Sherman (Mary) and Sondra Smull.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (623 North St #5th, Burlington, IA 52601).
In lieu of flowers memorials include: Southeastern Iowa Hospice House, Burlington High School Athletic Association, PEO Chapter NH Women's Scholarships.
