He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Gilbertson; his stepchildren, David Gilbertson of Burlington and Jessica Dalton of Mediapolis; his sisters, Diane Poisel (Joe) of Burlington, DeLaine Duke (Jay) of Burlington and Dana Malloy (Mike) of Burlington; and his siblings' children, Emily Underwood, Natalie Vahle, Austin Duke, Trevor Duke, Brandon Malloy and Bryanna Hulett.
A memorial has been established for P.A.W.S. of Fort Madison.
