Joyce Ann Burtalo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Burtalo of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Ann Burtalo to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Schindall and Frances Schindall; her children, Connie Stout and Terry "Bub" Burtalo; her grandson Justin Burtalo; and her siblings, Lavern, Carl Schindall, Evelyn Mahoney, Betty Houtz and Virginia Schindall.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Phillips (Randy) of Burlington and Janet Reighard (Joel) of Burlington; her sister-in-law Barbra Schindall; and her friends, Shirley and Pete Miller. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.

A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
