She is survived by: her children, Dustin Johnson (Jessica) of Burlington and Samantha Johnson of Burlington; her grandchildren, Tyler and Jaidin; her siblings, Diane Boyd (John) of Burlington and Daryl McGill (Metta) of Huxley, Iowa; and her nieces and nephews, Matthew Wood of Burlington, Brandi Shaw of Burlington, Zach Boyd of Burlington, Katie Boyd of Mediapolis and Ethan McGill of Huxley.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society for cat medical expenses.
