Karen Lee Losey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2024, at the age of 85, Karen Lee Losey of Burlington, Iowa, born in Mount Sterling, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross William and Ida Mae Shriver Losey; her brothers, Larry and Richard Losey; her siblings-in-law, Mel Vornkahl and Shirley Husak (Losey); and her nieces, Deborah Eckstein and Teresa Losey.
She is survived by: her sister Ruth E. Vornkahl of Burlington; her sibling's children, Jan Vornkahl, Susan Johnson, Rhonda Good (Lonnie), Sheila Saunders (Kevin), Kent Losey, Rick Losey (Melissa) and Mike Losey; her sister-in-law Sharon Ellis (Losey); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Grant Johnson (Allison), Emily Eckstein, Wesley Johnson, Kayla Harwell (Brad), Christopher Saunders (Jamie), Nathan Losey (Hannah), Wyatt Losey and Chance Losey. She is also survived by several great-great nieces and nephews and various cousins.
A memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Home Health and Hospice and for the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
