She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon W. Blake and Anna H. Blake (Peters); her husband Ralph E. Meyer; her great grandchild Trisslynn Jones; and her siblings, Harold Blake, Ramona Wagg, Sharon Bean, Donna Blake and Betty Bower.
She is survived by: her son Ralph Meyer, Jr. (Tammy) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Rebecca Richards of Burlington, Grant Jones (Alyssa Patrick) of Burlington and Zachary Determan (Nicolle) of Omaha, NE; her great grandchildren, Brielle Determan and Ivory Smalley; her great great grandchild Liam Shaffer; and her sister Shirley Truitt of Muscatine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial has been established for the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
