Kathy Cagle Obituary
In loving memory of Kathy Cagle of Burlington, Iowa, who departed this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 75. Kathy leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Patterson and Marie Patterson (Langer); and her former husband Dr. Jon H. Gates. She is survived by: her husband Tom Cagle; her brothers, Bill Patterson (Julia) and Bob Patterson (Marta); her children, Tina Vance (Jenna) of Ben Gates, J. P., Kelly Hunt (Gordon), Steve Gates, Mike Gates (Mary), Terri McCrory (Eric) and Sandy Wick (Damon); and her stepchildren, Tanya Cagle-Blum (Mitch Roth), Troy Cagle (Jenny) and Taylor Cagle (Nicki). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established for PAW's Animal Shelter.
