Kevin Russell Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 25, 2026, at the age of 65, Kevin Russell of Burlington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Kevin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kevin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Russell. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Russell (Westerbeck); his wife Karen Sue Russell (Schwarm); his daughters, Jennifer and Michelle; his granddaughters, Marissa and Mia; and his brother Michael Russell. He is also survived by niece and nephew, cousins, and a tight-knit group of friends.
A memorial has been established for Des Moines County Conservation.
