She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Howard Coleman and Judy Newberry (Inghram) of Johnstown, Colorado; her former husbands, Jeffrey Chalupa and John Parcel; her children, Adam Chalupa (Ani) of Burlington, Nicholas Chalupa of Burlington, Jessica Parcel of Burlington, Jennifer Parcel of Crystal River, Jonathan Parcel (Sarah) of Burlington and Erin Bradley (Jason) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Xander Chalupa (Emma), Jenna Chalupa, Natalie Parcel, Nolan Waters, Auggie Waters and Jaxon Stratton; her stepmother Diane Coleman of Burlington; her siblings, Joe Coleman (Nancy) of Burlington, Jeoffrey Coleman of Burlington, John Coleman of Burlington, Cindy Baldwin of Johnstown, Colorado and James "Jim" Coleman; and her stepfather Harry Newberry. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial has been established for the Special Olympics – Midwest Magic.
