He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hale and Maxine Hale; and his wife Karen Bush. He is survived by: his children, Tonya Powell (Scott) and Doug Hale (Debby); his grandchildren, Daniel Powell (Mitzi), Elizabeth Swan, Michael Powell (Nicole), Katelyn Adamson (Jordan) and James Hale (Scarlet); his sister Elaine Lox; and his pet Koda. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Burlington Area Veterans Honor Guard.
