He was predeceased by: his father Darrel Zahner; and his grandparents, Donald "Don" and Genevieve "Jennie" Zahner. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Zahner (Stafford) of Burlington; his siblings, Tim Zahner (Ronda) of Shell Rock, David Zahner (Jodi) of Cedar Rapids, Kenneth Zahner (Brenda) of Burlington and Rose Klein of Burlington; and his nieces and nephews, Leah Weinreich (Matt) of Burlington, Paige Zahner (Joshua Marroquin) of Cedar Rapids, Emily Zahner of Des Moines, Chad Klein (Krystal) of Burlington, Andrew Klein (Kristin) of Fairfax, Jason, Nick, Tyler Zahner, Coleton, Jacob, Joshua Zahner of Burlington and Zak Zahner of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends.
