She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Johnson and Katherine "Pat" Johnson (Harding); and her husband Dean Yocum. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Day Yocum of Palatine, IL; her caregiver Lesa Muntz of Burlington; and her pet Owen.

A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society or an animal shelter of your choice.
