She is survived by: her husband Bob Slater of Burlington, Iowa; her children, Craig Shafer (Ruth) and Brenda Newcomb (David); her stepchildren, Carla Timmerman (Lyle) of Wapello, Shelly Keltner (Tom) of Wapello, Rick Slater (Terri) of Grandview and Greg Slater (Tammy) of Ft. Madison, Iowa; her sister Ann Waterman of Stronghurst, Illinois; Larry Marshall of Mediapolis, Iowa. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, and several great- great grandchildren.
