We are sad to announce that, on December 11, 2022, at the age of 92, Margaret Walter (Burlington, Iowa) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Walter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Countryman and Anna Countryman (Kassel); her husband Charles Frederick Walter; her daughter Pamela Hellberg; her grandson Brad Dacy; and her great grandchild Tiffany Easley.

She is survived by: her children, Cheri Dacy (Pat), Kathi Coleman (Don), Robyn Walter and Jeff Walter; and her grandchildren, Michael Easley (Michelle), Jason Easley (Mindy), Dustin Hellberg (Diane Hur), Ron Coleman (KeAira), Zach Hellberg, Tim Coleman (Teresa), Brett Dacy, Sam Hellberg (Seth Garrett), Jenna Mehaffy (Mitch), Lisa Golwitzer (Ben), Jordon Walter and Sheyanne Walter. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Animal Shelter.
