He was predeceased by: his father James Weiss; his grandson Clayton Connelly; and his sister-in-law Earlene Weiss. He is survived by: his mother Dana Weiss of West Burlington; his former wives, Brenda McCabe and Deborah Johnson; his children, Melissa Weiss of Burlington, Ben Weiss (Maegan) of Farmersburg, IA and Justin Weiss of West Burlington; his stepdaughters, Shawna Ranney of Burlington and Stephanie Ranney of Burlington; and his siblings, Bradley Weiss (Juli), Brian Weiss of Burlington and Laura Weiss-Ferguson (Randy) of Burlington. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.
