It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jannings of Burlington, Iowa, born in Andalusia, Alabama, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dennis White and Aileen White (Deshazo); her husband Robert Jannings; her grandsons, Benjamin and Yodi; and her brothers, John White, Eugene White, James White and Robert White.
She is survived by : her children, Les Jannings (Lori) of Burlington, Elaine Wunnenberg of Burlington and Teresa Brissey (Jack) of Burlington; and her siblings, Joy Powell of Alabama, David White of Ohio, Omer White of Georgia and Ann Jenkins of Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for Asbury United Methodist Church.
