It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam A. Winter of Burlington, Iowa, born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred L. Oldt and Eva Arnold Oldt; her husband Frank E. Winter; and her siblings, Jessie Humphreys, Winnie Cline, Willis and Richard Oldt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Hilkin of Burlington and Julie Winter of Burlington; her grandchildren, John Hilkin (Allison) of Aurora, CO and Liz Hilkin of Gainesville, FL; and her great grandchildren, Elliott and Desmond Hilkin of Aurora, CO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for Des Moines County Humane Society.
