She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean E. Gapen and Bertha L. Gapen (Mitts); her son Curtis Watts; and her siblings, Clifford, Roger, Robert, Joann and Sharon.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Boney of Burlington; her daughters, Julie Fleming of Ankeny and Katie Boney (Mandi Radakovich) of Gilbert, Arizona; her grandchildren, Courtney Fleming, Brody Fleming, Adley Radakovich and Nixon Boney; and her sister Betty Sumpter (Garry) of Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked in memory of Norma, a personal act of kindness or reach out to someone in need.
