We bid farewell to Patricia Higdon of Burlington, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Patricia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnson and Lois Johnson (Herron); her husband Jimmy A. Higdon; and her daughter-in-law Pam Higdon. She is survived by: her children, Randy Higdon (Angie) of Danville, Greg Higdon (Katherine) of Danville and Diane Snelson (Jerry) of West Burlington, Iowa; and her sister Kathleen Volner. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lunning Funeral Chapel (2620 Mt Pleasant St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established for the City of Hope Foundation.
