We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Peggy Lou Collins of Burlington, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Thomas and Margaret Schmidt Thomas; and her sisters, Cyndie Smith and Debby Fisher. She is survived by: her husband Mark P. Collins; her daughters, Kassie Kirkling (Walt) of Crown Point, IN and Heidi Collins of West Burlington; her grandsons, Quincy Collins and Kash Kirkling; and her foster brothers, Raleigh Helmick (Nancy) of Burlington and Timothy Helmick (Becky) of Libertyville, IA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society in honor of Lucy.
