With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Randall Lee Hachmeister of Burlington, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald E. Hachmeister and Shirley Mae Hachmeister (Bell); his brother David Hachmeister; his parents-in-law, Stanley and Roberta Welsh; and his sister-in-law Ellen Welsh Keithley.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Welsh; his children, Zachary Hachmeister (Leah) of Lisle, IL, Adam Hachmeister (Nora) of Raleigh, NC and Ashlyn Turner (Brian) of Ballwin, MO; his grandchildren, Avery Hachmeister, Emma Hachmeister, Gage Hachmeister, Decker Hachmeister, Beau Hachmeister, Selah Hachmeister, Elle Turner, Annelise Turner and Elijah Turner; his brothers, Greg Hachmeister of Coon Rapids, IA, Jeff Hachmeister (Laura) of Coon Rapids, IA, Mark Hachmeister (Linda) of Coon Rapids, IA and John Hachmeister (Dee) of Coon Rapids, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Mitchell Welsh (Sandy) of Blandinsville, IL and Melinda Welsh (Keith Donaldson) of Blandinsville, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at 5592 Club House Dr, Burlington, IA 52601.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Child Life Specialist at Stead Family Children's Hospital and Pheasants Forever.
