He was predeceased by : his mother Barbara E. Ackerson (Best); and his son Tanner Ackerson. He is survived by : his wife Dana Forrester of Burlington; and his children, Andrea Mora, Chachi Martin (CeCe), Ashley Smith, Olivia Leitch, Tessa Piper, Bryan Piper and Kaylynn Leasure. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
