In the vast expanse of eternity, Rex shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rex farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Brockett and Hazel Brockett (Christofferson); and his son Richard Brockett. He is survived by: his children, Trina Brockett Scott of Burlington, Opie Brockett of Burlington and Rex Brockett Jr. of Texas; and his brothers, Roman Brockett and Martin Brockett. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
