He was predeceased by: his parents, Estle Dale and Virginia Eileen Sparrow Cromer. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Cromer of Burlington; his children, David Cromer (Theresa) of West Burlington and Kellie Sloan (Jeff) of Mount Pleasant; his stepchildren, Karla Saar of Cedar Rapids, Debra Bigelow (Brad) of Apopka and Tony Malone (Sherry) of Eldon, IA; and his brother Dale Cromer of Plymouth, IL. He is also survived by one niece; four nephews; and several step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Valley Dusters or a charity of your choice.
