Richard Dale Dameron Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Dale Dameron of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee A. Dameron and Armeda C. Dameron (Wills); his wife Joan V. Granaman; and his siblings, Gene, Clancy, William, Marcella and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his sons, Marvin Dameron (Cindy) of Burlington and Kevin Dameron Sr. (Linda) of Burlington; his stepson Michael Mellinger of Burlington; his grandchildren, Jeremy Dameron, Jodi Dameron, Summer Coleman, Kevin Dameron Jr. and Angela Lowary; his stepgrandchildren, Katie Mellinger and Christopher Augustine; and his siblings, Robert Dameron of Burlington, Arthur "Bud" Dameron of Washington, Iowa and Betty Drain of Arkansas. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Wounded Warrior Project.
