Richard Wright Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Wright of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucille Kampschneider and Beauford Wright; his wife Mary Kay Wright (Spading) of Burlington; his daughters, Rita Willkinson (Gary) of Peachtree City, GA, Teresa Cowens (Fred) of Naples, FL and Linda Coen (Joe) of Newton, IA; and his sisters, Robin Wright Langston and JoAnn Bryan. He was also cherished by his six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Divine Mercy Parish or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
