He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Philpott and Virginia Philpott (Kindig). He is survived by: his wife Susan Gallagher; his children, Christy Torri (Fran) of Grove City, Jason Philpott (Jessie) of Burlington and Kendra Crawford (Eric) of West Burlington, Iowa; his grandchildren, Patrick, Alexandria Smith, Jacob and Joshua Philpott; his great grandchild Caleb Smith; and his brother Randy Philpott of Burlington, Iowa.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
