He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth William and Bertha Burkhalter Cameron; his daughter Michelle Ann; his sisters, Lavon Thomson and Cheryl Harris; his daughter-in-law Jackie Cameron; and his grandson John Daniel Grimes.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cameron; his children, Michael Allen Cameron (Kathy) of Burlington, Mark William Cameron of Burlington and Kristina Lynn Bergstrom (Jeremiah) of Brookings, SD; his son-in-law Dan Grimes of Midwest City, OK; his grandchildren, Melissa McEntyre (Shawn), Elizabeth Grimes, Casey Grimes, Ben Cameron (Shawna), Blake Cameron (Rachel), Derek Weiler (TJ), Sara Loper (Justin), Jesse Cameron, Micah Bergstrom, Abigail Bergstrom, Caleb Bergstrom and Tabitha Bergstrom; his great grandchildren, Kayle Loper, Haley Loper, Austin Loper, Peyton Cameron, Lila Cameron, Ellie Cameron, Kinsey Cameron, Kyler Cameron, Christine Grimes, Nora McEntyre and Logan Cameron; his great great grandchild Everly Leibli; and his siblings, Alice Huffman and David Cruikshank (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, RSVP, DMCRSP, Hawkeye Stamp Club, Iowa Postal History Societies, Iowa Retired School Personnel and NEA.
A memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
