He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy McBride and Elba McBride (Hyatt); his wife Donna R. Swann; his sons, Danny Joe McBride and Robert Dale McBride; and his grandson Jacob Olson.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Reu of Dallas City, Dawn Davolt (David) of Fort Madison and Glen McBride (Myrna) of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and his stepchildren, Denise Morse of West Burlington, Diane Jordan (Randy) of West Burlington and Doug Taylor (Amy) of Milliken, Colorado.
A memorial has been established in his memory for West Burlington United Methodist Church or the Neighborhood Center Food Pantry of Southeast Iowa Community Action.
