He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence G. Farris and Sylvia E. Farris (Bundy); his children, Jeffrey C. and Joni L. Farris; and his siblings, Kenneth, Kathryn and Margaret.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa "Teri" Farris-Critten of West Burlington, Iowa, Toni Kirk of Kansas City and Robert "Todd" Farris of Burlington, Iowa; his grandchildren, Shawna, Scott, Shelby, Danielle, Ashley, Jeffrey and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Jillian, Ariana, Aeric, Alexander, Jace, Conor and Brennan.
