We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2024, at the age of 96, Robert Lewis Dameron of Burlington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Dameron and Armeda Dameron (Wills); his wife Patricia Ann Woodside; and his siblings, Bill, Clarence, Gene, Richard Dameron, Evelyn Johnson and Marcella Whitham.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy McClellan (Rick) of Burlington and John Dameron (Juanita) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Brian Dameron (Shannon), Brad Dameron (Michele), Mindy Dunkin (Aaron), Heather Foster (Ann), Christina Niles (Todd) and Brandi Jo Keenan (Clint); and his siblings, Bud Dameron and Betty Lou Drain. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his memory for Iowa 2x4s For Hope.
