Robert G. Whalen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert G. Whalen of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Marion Frances Whalen (Theis); and his daughter-in-law Lisa Whalen (David). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth W. Schleif of Burlington; his sons, Mark Whalen (Lori) of Burlington, David Whalen of Saginaw, MI, John Whalen (Dawn) of Kansas City, MO, Brian Whalen (Sheila) of Urbandale, IA and Steven Whalen (Corynn) of Vinton, IA; and his sister Patricia Bullinger of Burlington. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
