She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bergquist and Tess Dodd Bergquist; her sister Cindy Siems; her siblings-in-law, Ed and Jean York; and her granddaughter Mia Gerstel.

She is survived by: her husband David Allen York; her daughters, Cary Skeens (Jeremy) and Miranda Gerstel (Jason); her grandchildren, Shannan Skeens, Austin Gerstel, Hailey Gerstel, Mayah Gerstel and Jase Gerstel; her sister Debbie Wittkamp (Rod); and her siblings-in-law, Denise Gunderson (Dave), Pam York (Jay Schrankler) and Daniel Siems. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
