He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Holmes and Blanche Holmes (Parsons); his son Brian Holmes; his sister Sharon Brooks; and his brother-in-law Lynn Appleget.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Holmes, Tara Holmes, Dustin Holmes and Laura Gayewski (Zac); his grandchildren, Kendal, Amber, Ticionna, Hunter, Emmah, Maci, Elijah, Gibson and Clover; and his siblings, Marsha Holmes, Robert Holmes and Jan Appleget. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
