It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Eugene Schroeder of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schroeder of Washington and Ruth Louise Schroeder (Huppenberger); his son Paul Schroeder; and his siblings, Roger Schroeder and Sandra Hart.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Schroeder of Burlington; and his children, Eric Schroeder (Julie) of Burlington and Sonya Schroeder of Greensboro.
