She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Brissey and Hillis Long Brissey; and her nephew Jeff Snider. She is survived by: her siblings, Lynn Hitchings of New London, Nancy Snider of Burlington and Dennis Brissey (Sandra) of Burlington. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
