With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Wagner of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Caroline Olive Hedlund McNeeley; her siblings, Gilbert Wayne, Ronald, John, Roger, Alice Lite, Ruby Messer, Velma Lyons, Margaret Berry and Doris Garrels; and her granddaughter Kristi Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Schlote (Robert) of Silverdale, WA, Thomas Wagner (Kathy) of Bettendorf, IA, James Wagner (Judy) of Bloomington, IN, Daniel Wagner of Burlington and Catherine Wagner-Aronson (Randy) of Cooper City, FL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
