With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandy J. Marlette of Burlington, Iowa, born in Centerville, Iowa, who passed away on August 16, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Plath and Ethel Bartusek Plath; her husband Donald S.; and her granddaughter Lenora. She is survived by: her children, Donald Marlette, Jr. (Sarah) of St. Cloud, MN, Rhonda Marlette (Jon) of Nashua, IA and Sierra Shaffer (Zach) of Burlington; her stepchildren, Teresa Taylor (Ernie) of Burlington, Dennis, David and Duane Marlette; and her siblings, Lester Plath of West Burlington, John Plath of West Burlington, Randy Plath of Stronghurst, IL and Carol Forester of Burlington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
