It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Dawn Butler-Shoop of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Sandy Wasson Butler; her grandparents, Rod, Racheal Butler and Gwendolyn Drish; her uncle Bill Butler; her aunt Jill Butler; and her grandparents, Ceola and Wilfred "Jim" Wasson.
She is survived by: her father Donald "Don" Butler; her husband Jason Shoop; her children, John Luke Shoop and Lenora Grace Shoop; her sisters, Michele "Shelly" Barlau (Brad), Sheree Stadler (David), Briana Sourwine (Bob) and Nicole Bowers; her close friend Jason Shoop; and her daughter Nora Grace.
A memorial has been established for her children John Luke and Nora Grace in c/o F&M Bank and Trust.
