She is survived by: her husband Terry Richard Bernhart; her children, Richard Terry (Cathy), Kelly Jean (Chad Townsend) and Jan Marie Thompson (Troy); her grandson Matthew Glen; and her siblings, Roger of Fort Madison, Phillip (Shirley) of Rock Island, Larry (Sue) of Abington Il, Darlene Elaine Walker of Wapello, Ron of Fort Madison and Mark Allen of Hillsboro, Iowa.. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchild.
A memorial has been established for First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
