She was predeceased by: her parents, John Patrick and Sheri A. Goldsmith (Maison); her former husband John Patrick Morrow; and her brother John Goldsmith. She is survived by: her children, Carmine Morrow of Chicago, Angela Morrow of Burlington, Gianna Morrow of Port Richey, Michael Morrow of Mount Pleasant and Jeffrey McCabe of Burlington; her grandchildren, Malachite, Talon, Elijah, Amiah, Jayanni, Giovanni, Kirah, Easton, Owen and Baby Michael; her brothers, Skip Goldsmith and Bobby Goldsmith; and her close friend Jeannine Harrison of Burlington.

Sammy founded and was the director of the Effie Sue Sober Living House in Burlington for seven years until its closure due to Covid in 2020.

A memorial has been established for the family to help with funeral expenses.
