He was predeceased by: his parents, John Slocum and Maxine Slocum (Alley); his wife Trudy Slocum; his brother-in-law Ed Timmerman; his nephew Brent; and his grandson Jameson Bailey.
He is survived by: his sister Diane Timmerman (Ed) of Burlington; his niece Traci Timmerman; his daughter Jennifer Bailey (Jake) of West Burlington; and his grandchildren, Isabelle Slocum, Brielle Bailey, Bronson Bailey and Bellamy Bailey.
A memorial has been established for the Brent Slocum Foundation, who will continue its work giving back to the community he loved.
