He was predeceased by: his parents, William Egan and Maxine Egan of Mediapolis; and his siblings, Bill, Pat, Mike, Julia and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Egan (Corey) of Shellsburg and Ryan Egan (Amiee) of West Burlington, Iowa; his former wife Sherri Egan (Gerst); his grandchildren, Ira Moretz-Egan of North Liberty, Kaylee Martin-Egan of West Burlington, Iowa, Parker Egan of West Burlington, Iowa and Hudson Egan of West Burlington, Iowa; and his siblings, Judith Kerr (Melvin) of Macomb, Katie Ford of Alpine, Joan Beauvais of Oceanside and Dan Egan (Lynn) of Burlington, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
