He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Howard and Emma Irene Richardson Crabb; his wife Judith Elaine Beriou; and his brother Robert G. Crabb. He is survived by: his children, Todd Crabb of Clearwater, Wendy Miranda (Ed) of Des Moines and Kelly Wills (Terry) of West Burlington; his grandchildren, Andrea, Terry, Tyler, Samantha, Jacy, Stephanie and Travis; and his great grandchildren, Harrison Smith, Shepherd Smith, Brooks Behlman and Nellie Wills. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society and Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
