He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kemp and Betty Kemp (Reynolds); his sister Bonnie Garmoe; and his sisters-in-law, Faye Kemp and Penny Kemp.
He is survived by: his close friend Linda Hanson; his children, Terry Kemp (Jessica) of Quincy, Deborah Kemp of Burlington, John Vernoy (Vona) of Burlington, Stacy Steele (Gabe) of West Point and Michaela Hanson of Burlington; and his brothers, Donald Kemp of Sperry, Michael Kemp of Burlington and Robert Kemp (Enida) of Temple, Texas.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild.
