She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Carl and Ruth Victoria Distlehorst Feldman; her husband Lawrence Murphy; her close friend John Kindig; her daughter Diana Kay Murphy; and her sisters, Viola Brockert, Bernice Wainwright and Lorraine Dannenberger.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Douglas Murphy (Lisa) of Burlington, Victoria "Vicki" Lynn Beckman (Kevin) of Burlington and Sue Dixon of Burlington; her grandchildren, Shannon Murphy (Chase) of Williams Bay, WI, Brenna Murphy of Burlington, Brennan Murphy of Cedar Rapids, Rachel of Burlington, Aiden of Burlington, Charlotte "Charli" of Burlington and Kaden Murphy of Burlington; and her great grandchildren, Rihanna, Aaliyah Campbell, Isabella "Ella" and Americus "Mac" DeLuca. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Special Needs Foundation.
