It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William David Rodgers of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William David and Sadie Noble Rodgers; his spouse Shirley Green; his son William David Rodgers III; and his siblings, Florence Rodgers and Robert Rodgers.

He is survived by : his children, Desiree Rodgers of Burlington, Terrea Puterbaugh (David) of Fairbanks, AK, Alice Petker of Burlington, Michael Rodgers of Ft. Madison and Clifford Rodgers of Hamilton, IL.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren with one on the way and one niece.
