He was predeceased by: his daughter Laura; his parents, William M. Hedgepeth and Cora B. Lanning Hedgepeth; his grandchild Christy; his siblings, Clifford Hedgepeth and Kathleen Annegers; and his brothers-in-law, Warren Mehmken and Harold Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Ann Hedgepeth of Burlington; his siblings, Paul L. Hedgepeth (Donna) of Fort Madison, Margaret Mehmken (Warren) of Sperry and Esther Hedgepeth Wright of Dallas, TX; and his close friend Mark Miller of Burlington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
