It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willis Brown of Burlington, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Reed and Wilma M. Mohnike Brown; his son Todd Brown; his sister Evelyn Laue; his grandson Dawson Brown; and his nephew Bob Laue.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Brown of Middletown, IA; and his children, Tim Brown (Sue) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Cheryl Clawson (Dennis) of Burlington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Hospice and the Wounded Warriors Project.
