He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawerence Potter Sr. and Mary Lou Potter (Meier); his daughter Tiffany Potter; his siblings, Daniel Potter and Linda Potter; and his son-in-law Garrett Lamaack.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel "Logan" Potter, Steven Potter, Cary Lamaack and Tara Newport (Chadwick); his grandchildren, Whitney Lange (Derrick), Jarrett, Alex, Walker, Fisher, Gunner Lamaack, Madison, Jackson, Rilee and Conner Potter; and his siblings, Joe Potter (Lisa), Mark Potter (Cheryl), Donna Potter-Suskey and Susan Briggs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles.
